25th June 2011 Windsurfing: Daymer Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: not enough Surf / Sea State: 7 sec swells Air Temperature: distinctly cool Sea Temperature: ok Weather: misty Max Speed: Distance Covered: Windguru said F4-6. We got F2-3. Bugger. Since I was there, I rigged my 7.4m sail and managed to get planing very sporadically on some of the gusts. Not a good use of fuel to get there in the end. Especially as I had to spend 30 mins with an old piece of 150 grit wet 'n dry paper to get the new skeg to fit :( |
